“Healing through Foraging,” a talk on Indigenous food sovereignty by Twila Cassadore (San Carlos Apache), traditional food forager.

Part of the series Earth Speak: Indigenous Voices at Mission Garden. In this series, learn from six nationally recognized Indigenous leaders who are reclaiming traditional agricultural practices and foodways across North America. There will be a limited amount of traditional foods available to taste.

About the Speaker

Cassadore is a traditional food forager, knowledge keeper and elder, harvester, and collector of traditional Western Apache food diet data.
