About the Speakers: Jorigine Paya (Hualapai) & Carrie Cannon (Kiowa/Oglala Lakota)
Paya is a plant knowledge bearer and is fluent in the Hualapai language. Cannon is an ethnobotanist who works with tribal elders and youth promoting the persistence of tribal plant knowledge as a living practice and tradition.
