Tasting History is an interactive, drop-in, family friendly program. Learn more about Tucson through the people and plants that shape our home.

This month, we are celebrating chiltepín! Come taste “the mother of all chiles,” the wild ancestor to domesticated peppers. Chiltepín grows wild throughout our region and thrives in local gardens, including many throughout Mission Garden. Come try it pickled, dry, and raw!
