Meagan Villegas
Born and raised in Tucson, Meagan Villegas brings a lifelong love of nature, community, and culture to her role as Shop Sales Associate at Mission Garden. She enjoys welcoming visitors, sharing the garden’s stories, and connecting people with locally made goods, produce, and plants that reflect Tucson’s rich agricultural heritage.
Meagan’s path has always centered on care. Whether for people, animals, or the environment, she delights in helping others reconnect with the land, their communities, and the food they eat. With experience in food service, animal care, and peer support, she approaches wellness holistically, believing that individual well-being and community health are deeply interconnected.
Creativity is central to Meagan’s life. She has been an artist since birth, cultivating a natural eye for realism in her drawing, and she also expresses mindfulness and flow through dance and flow art, practices she discovered in Tucson’s vibrant music scene. A lover of language and storytelling, she adores K-dramas and is learning and reclaiming Tohono O’odham, her tribal language, to honor her Indigenous heritage.
Inspired by Mission Garden’s vision, Meagan is committed to cultivating connection, stewardship, and shared abundance and helping every visitor experience the beauty and purpose of living in harmony with nature.
